French Property Management
Taking good care of your property is essential and how you manage this will depend on whether you live locally or in the UK.
If you live in the UK you would be better served by finding a local and reliable property management company to look after your
holiday home in France, this will at least give you peace of mind.
You should expect your management company to:
- Ventilate the property to check for any humidity and/or damage.
- Check all utilities are in working order, including water, electricity, gas and make sure all appliances are in working order
and meet relevant local regulations, if applicable.
- Keep all internal and external plants watered and keep the terraces and gardens.
- Collect mail to forward or leave in the property.
- Make sure the air conditioning/heating is in working order before your tenant (or you) arrives
- Arrange cleaning to coincide with tenants arrival. Pass over and collect keys.
- Keep an eye on the property during tenancies - short or long term.
- Be aware of how local conditions can adversely affect your property - flood/cold.
- Advise you on all necessary repairs; Plumbing, Electrics, Maintenance & gardening
